Most bacteria are on a doorknob right? Well guess again.. you would almost trow your smartphone into the washing-machine.
Researchers at the University of Surrey in England dipped their phone in agar, a substance that helps bacteria grow. After a few days of agar they zoomed their mobile phone under the microscope and they made these pictures.
The result is a world of its own. A world full of mainly innocent bacteria but also some that can cause skin rashes and even food poisoning. Uhl.
